We recently looked at the 2023 IKON 4534RQ Renegade RV and all we can say is... we are thoroughly impressed. From the exterior features to the interior amenities, this motorhome has it all. Also, check out our list of best RV's for 2023 for more RV picks.
The Exterior
Starting with the exterior, the 50 amp shore cord compartment and compartment for the generator are conveniently located on the driver's side of the coach. The hydraulic compartment and battery bay are also easily accessible on this side, as is the access to the diesel fuel and exhaust for the 600D Aqua Hot and engine. The wet bay is located here as well, as are the black and gray tank compartments. The tandem axle with 22.5 inch Michelin rubber and aluminum rims really impressed me - the ride was smooth and handling was easy.
The passenger side of the coach also has a lot to offer, with 4 flush slide outs that come equipped with sweeper bars. The docking lights are a nice touch, as are the dual pane, tinted windows with day and night shades. The entry door has 2 step safety and assist bars, and the retractable awning is a great feature for providing some shade on hot days.
The Interior
Moving inside, the entry door has 2 tablets that allow you to control all of the coach functions, which is a really convenient feature. The theater seats and booth dinette are super comfortable and provide a great place to relax or entertain guests. The Samsung residential refrigerator and convection microwave are top of the line and make meal prep a breeze. The kitchen also has an induction cooktop and dishwasher, which are great additions.
The living area is spacious and comes with a 50 inch TV and Bose sound bar for movie nights or sports viewing. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a padded headboard, and the ensuite bathroom has a large shower, china bowl toilet, and vanity sink. There is also a wardrobe and washer/dryer closet for added convenience.
One of the standout features of the Renegade Icon is the Garmin navigation system, which comes with a 360 degree security camera system. The energy management system and hydraulic leveling system are also excellent features that make this motorhome a top choice.
